\u00a0GENERAL APPEARANCE<\/b>
\nCoat clipped in traditional lion clip, tail also clipped, topped with plume, giving appearance of a little lion. Strongly built, active, well balanced and alert.<\/p>\n

CHARACTERISTICS<\/b>
\nGay, happy, lively little dog.<\/p>\n

TEMPERAMENT<\/b>
\nIntelligent, affectionate showing no sign of aggression.<\/p>\n

HEAD AND SKULL<\/b>
\nShort fairly broad.. Skull flat between the ears head carried proud and high. Well defined stop; short, strong muzzle.<\/p>\n

EYES<\/b>
\nRound, dark, large and intelligent. Unbroken pigmentation of eye rims, pigment to be in accordance with coat colour.<\/p>\n

EARS<\/b>
\nPendant, of moderate length with long fringing.<\/p>\n

MOUTH<\/b>
\nJaws strong, with perfect, regular and complete scissor bite, i.e. the upper teeth closely overlapping the lower teeth and set square to the jaws.<\/p>\n

NECK<\/b>
\nGood length, proudly arched.<\/p>\n

FOREQUARTERS<\/b>
\nForelegs straight and fine. Shoulders well laid.<\/p>\n

BODY<\/b>
\nShort, strong and well proportioned. Level topline. Ribs well sprung. Strong loin with moderate tuck up.<\/p>\n

HINDQUARTERS<\/b>
\nHindlegs well-muscled, with good turn of stifle; straight when viewed from rear.<\/p>\n

FEET<\/b>
\nSmall, round.<\/p>\n

TAIL<\/b>
\nMedium length, clipped with tuft of hair to resemble a plume. Carried gaily on move.<\/p>\n

GAIT\/MOVEMENT<\/b>
\nFree, parallel movement for and aft, no hackneyed action.<\/p>\n

COAT<\/b>
\nFairly long, wavy, never curly. Single coat of soft texture.<\/p>\n

COLOUR<\/b>
\nAny colour or combination of colours permissible.<\/p>\n

SIZE<\/b>
\nHeight: 25-33 cm (10-13 ins) at withers.<\/p>\n

FAULTS<\/b>
\nAny departure from the foregoing points should be considered a fault and the seriousness with which the fault should be regarded should be in exact proportion to its degree.<\/p>\n

NOTE<\/b>
